Purl Stitch
 Monday March 22 10-11am 
In this one-hour quickie class you will learn the purl stitch, and begin to make a coffee cozy using a combined knit and purl pattern.

Crochet Flowers

Make crocheted flowers for spring!  These are great for dressing up sweaters, bags, and headbands.  $35.00 plus materials 

 
Toe-Up Sock Class (knit)
Monday March 8 & March 15, 9-11am & March 16 & 23  6-8pm--Tired of socks that don't fit? In this 2 part class you will learn the Turkish Cast On, Magic Loop and a stretchy bind-off to make this pair of socks the most comfortable you have ever made. $35.00 plus materials
 
Circular Hat Class
Wednesday March 10, 9-11am 
OR Friday March 19, 6-8pm
You know how to knit.  Take the next step and learn to make a hat in the round!  No seams to sew. You will make your choice of a solid or variegated yarn hat, or a helix hat (thin stripes in 2 or more colors which spiral without joining)   Knowledge of purl stitch is optional.  .  This class will guide you through knitting a basic hat in the round on circular and double-pointed needles. $25.00 plus materials
 
Absolute Beginners Knitting-
Friday March 12 & March26 2010 6-7:30pm
In this two-part class you will learn the basic skills needed to make a scarf, including cast on, knit stitch, and bind off. You'll also learn about needles, gauge, and how to select the right yarn for your project. This class comes with a guarantee: you will learn to knit! $25.00 plus materials
 
Absolute Beginners Crochet
March 12 9-11am 
or March 17 6-8pm
Crochet is fast and fun to do.  Learn the basics in this class: chain, single crochet, slip stitch.  $25.00 plus materials
 
Crochet Hat
Saturday  March 13 9-11am
Learn to crochet a basic hat using worsted weight yarn of your choice, wool, cotton, etc.
2 hour class - $35
  

Crochet Lacey Scarf

Wednesday March 20 6-8pm
or Tuesday March 16 9-11am This fascinating pattern stitch produces an airy scarf, perfect for spring.  It's versatile enough to make with a variety of yarns, and we have some very interesting yarns coming in just in time for spring projects - Sugar Rush, Jasmine and Mulberry!  $35.00 plus materials
 
Think Spring Belt
Friday March 19 9-11am
OR Wednesday March 24 6-8pm
Crochet a great accessory for your summer outfits, using new Garden Space mercerized cotton crochet threads.  This is a good introduction to thread crochet.  $35.00 plus materials
 

Irish Crochet Motifs

Sunday March 14  3-5pm

Freshen up a room this spring with Irish Crochet that works up faster than Grandma used to make.  Crochet the motifs with worsted weight yarn and use them on clothing, hats, purses, pillows, etc  $35.00 plus materials
 
Trellis Stitch Scarf
Sunday March 21 3-5 pm OR
Saturday March 27 9-11am

Make a beautiful light weight flower scarf perfect for Spring using Ella Rae lace merino or a similar lace weight yarn and a size C or D crochet hook.  $35plus materials

Amigurimi

Tues. Mar 30 6-8pm 

Make a little crochet bear for a special friend!  Amigurimi is the Japanese craft of crocheting stuffed toys with an emphasis on cute-ness. You'll want to crochet a basketful of these irresistibly cute little creatures. You will learn to make the critters take form by crocheting in the round.  $35.00 plus materials

Most classes will be limited to 4- 6 students
If a class becomes full you may go on a waiting list

To reserve your spot you may pre-pay your class enrollment with credit card, check or cash

Class Materials Discount
10% discount on class materials

Class cancellations
Classes cancelled due to poor weather conditions will be rescheduled

Refunds

Refunds will be issued up until 1 week prior to scheduled class
