Elizabeth Zimmermann's Pi Shawl Class April 25 & May 2, 2017  6-8pm

Required skills for this class are knitting, purling and binding off.  In the first session you will learn Emily Ockers circular beginning and using a simple formula for increasing stitches will begin to knit the shawl.  In the second session you will learn to incorporate eyelet rounds for a beautiful lacy effect.

Have questions? We'd love to talk!

In this Craftsy class taught by our crochet instructor Lindsey Stephens, you'll learn to seam every project cleanly and easily with the best join for the job.

You'll see how to join crochet stitches head to head, side to side, and everything in between — even in pieces with different stitch heights. You'll also expand your toolkit with go-to styles for sturdy seams, seams that mimic your stitch pattern and seams that add a decorative touch to your projects.

Flirty Poncho   Tuesdays May 2 & 9, 2017   10:30-12:30

Using a basic top-down design that has center front and back increases, this poncho can be made to be worn in summer or winter.  With its angled stripe mid-way down the body and a matching border stripe, there are endless variations on this theme.  Use your imagination to change the stripe and border pattern stitches, the way increases are done, the weight of the yarn and the size needles you use.

In this class, you will knit the poncho creating a basic stockinette or lace stripe.  Once you get the hang of it, we will discuss ways you can change the pattern each time you knit it so you'll never get bored!

$45.00 for two 2-our sessions
