Yarn Bombing
Celebrate Worldwide Knitting in Public Day in a memorable way! Come to the American Clock & Watch Museum on Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 10-3pm. Spend an hour or the whole day working on your own projects in public, and/or yarn bomb designated areas outside of the museum building. This fun, FREE event is a great way to unite knitters and crocheters from the local area. Participants also receive free admission to the museum all day. We encourage you to knit or crochet flowers, chains, squares, objects, etc. with your leftovers of stash yarns ahead of time for the bombing. The museum is located at 100 Maple Street in Bristol, CT 06010. Please park on streets near the museum, as parking is extremely limited in the museum parking lot. However, if needed, there is handicap accessible parking in the lot. Bring your own snacks. Children are welcome if they are knitting, crocheting or involved in any other fiber-related activity. Chairs and bathroom facilities available. For more info about this event contact Mary Klaneski, New England Yarn & Spindle LLC, 801 Terryville Avenue, Bristol, CT 06010. 860-516-4646. www.newenglandyarn.com www.neyarn.com For more info about the American Clock & Watch Museum– www.clockandwatchmuseum.org or contact info@clockmuseum.org, 860-583-6070
