Watermelon Hat - If you are comfortable with
circular needles please join us at lunchtime for this free get-together.
The air-conditioning will be on, and we'll have watermelon. If you'd like
to bring another fruit to share and a yogurt we'll have a light lunch while
knitting. This colorful Ann Norling child's hat pattern will fit sizes 6
mo., 1 yr. & 2 yrs. We suggest making it in Fantasy Naturale
cotton so your favorite watermelon lover can sport it on National Watermelon
Day (August 3, 2010).

We are really excited about this wonderful new book about a little
mouse named Phoebe who will soon be a big sister for the first time, whose
mother is knitting a sweater. The book includes knitting
patterns for a mouse doll and sweater, and a child size sweater in size 2,4,
or 6. The Knitalong begins June 21 and continues through the summer.
You'll be able to special-order the yarn for the sweater(s) and select from
any of the Brown Sheep Superwash shades. Feel free to participate in
one or all of these quick to knit projects. As you complete each
project you'll receive a $5 coupon good on your next purchase at the shop.
UFO Sunday July 25, 2010 3-5 pm FreeUnFinished Object Sunday is your opportunity to pull out those projects you've been avoiding finishing and work on them with the support of others. You are welcome to bring ANY unfinished object, even if the materials were not purchased at our store. When you register your project with us and bring it in finished, your name goes into a quarterly drawing for a prize.
