The Big Game - Play "Last Knitter Standing" - bring size 8 knitting needles. We'll supply yarn. If you can knit, you can play.
It's going to be a stash-busting night, so bring your stash yarns to knit or crochet, Size 11 circular needles (24" long or longer). Crocheters should brings hooks between size H & K.
The 10 Yard Line Bring 10-yard long balls of stash yarns for the " put & take" bowl. For every 10 yards you put in, you can take 10 yards out. We've already got a bowl of yarns to get you started, so every participant gets an extra 10 yards.
Fans: You may also bring your current project to work on.

Tvaandsstickning
-a Basic Hat
Twining or 2-end knitting is an old Scandinavian
technique called Tvaandsstickning in Norwegian, where both ends of the yarn are
alternately worked. By twisting the
yarns, the hat is more wind resistant, softer and very elastic, unlike the
fair-isle technique. Students will
learn basic twining in the round in a 1x1 rib stitch and in the knit stitch as
they begin a child's or adult sized hat in class. This is an advanced beginner class-must be able to knit and
purl. Experience working in the round
is recommended, but not necessary.

My First Top Down Pullover or Cardigan
You will be guided through the making of your first top down sweater. Top-down patterns require minimal finishing and are great for the beginner knitter who wants to move on to larger projects. Month -It's not too late to start
your blocks-this series will repeat into 2013.
Build your knitting skills one square at a time. This is a great class

Portuguese
Knitting 101 Portuguese knitting is a style of knitting in which
yarn is tensioned around a hooked pin, or around the neck. Once you learn how to do it, you will notice
that your knitting tension is more even, you are knitting faster, you love to
purl, and your hands are less tired! Class
project will be a dishcloth, or hat.
